Step away from the noise and reconnect with nature.
An organic and regenerative farm in Turrialba, Costa Rica.
For nearly 100 years, this farm has been part of our family.
In the 1930s, our great-grandfather Honorato came to Turrialba looking for a cooler climate and fertile land. He found it here, at 1,000 meters above sea level, and began growing coffee and sugarcane. Since then, each generation has added something of its own. Our grandfather André, an agronomist passionate about coffee and cacao, worked to improve the farm’s crops and developed a unique variety of banana. Our mother Adela carried that connection to the land into organic agriculture, creating products from what we grew here under the brand Makala. Today, we continue that legacy by combining generations of knowledge with regenerative and syntropic farming practices.
Los Titos is still our family’s farm, but we’re now opening its doors to share this special place with others to experience the land, discover where food comes from, slow down, and reconnect with nature.
